My passion for photography started at an early age. It began with my first instamatic camera, and developed with the infinite possibilities of my 35mm. I have always looked through the lens desiring to relay the beauty that was before me.
Nothing gives me more satisfaction, than taking a picture and developing the image. It doesn’t matter if I am in the darkroom working with film, or taking a digital image and working in light room. The subject has story to tell. When I am in an urban environment and the building is showing its majesty that the architect designed it to. Just as with the delicate flowers in my studio. The skyscraper reaching story’s above the pavement, shining in the sun. We all enjoy the beautiful Lilly, seducing us with its lines and hues. To the majestic rose, with the overlaying petals, mixing shadow and rich color.
I enjoy doing commissioned works, seeking to find the look a customer wants while applying my vision to the end product. I hope my images bring you the enjoyment, that they do me. I am based in the Minneapolis area, but I am not limited to working there. I lived in Chicago for nine years. I am just as much at home in the northern recesses of Minnesota, as I am in the large urban areas. I hope you enjoy this website, and can escape into the pictures I have taken.
